Established in 1999 in collaboration with Redcliff RCMP, SEASAR is a non-profit, volunteer-based association devoted to the safety and well-being of the region. SEASAR responds to the Medicine Hat Police Service, the City of Medicine Hat, RCMP detachments, and regional municipalities including Cypress County & Conservation Officers when support searching for lost or missing people, seeking evidence related to investigations, or assisting with disaster management.
We're ready to serve every hour of every day, year round. The team provides over 6,000 hours of service each year.
SEASAR is governed by a volunteer board elected from among the members. As of January 2024, the board includes:
Del Hope Warren Sandham
Tanya MacKenzie Amber Donnelly
Sue Berner Mark Keller
Andy Loignon Paul MacKenzie
Pascal Sequin Janice Stock
Hanna Zezula Ariel Zezula
Resources are managed carefully. The Association's planned operating expenses each year are about $18,000.
