Established in 1999 in collaboration with the Redcliff RCMP, SEASAR is a non-profit, volunteer-based association devoted to the safety and well-being of the region. SEASAR responds to the Medicine Hat Police Service, The City of Medicine Hat, RCMP detachments, and regional municipalities including Cypress County & Conservation Officers when support is required searching for lost or missing people, seeking evidence related to investigations, or assisting with disaster management.
In achieving this mission, SEASAR volunteers maintain operational 24/7/365 readiness. The team provides over 6,000 hours of service each year.
