Ground SAR
Experienced SEASAR members are trained to manage and direct searches. Almost always, a search begins with careful analysis of the situation and the likely behavoir of the lost person. Small teams are then directed to conduct searches under the command of the search manager. Communications is critical; teams report progress in their search areas and report any clues they discover.
Tracking skills may also be a useful asset as teams begin and conduct a search.
